Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps, OpenShift & Automation Engineer Contractor to support the design, automation, deployment, and operational management of cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, and business process automation solutions.
Working closely with development, testing, security, and architecture teams, the successful candidate will build and maintain secure, scalable, automated environments focused on Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Power Platform automation, monitoring, operational support, and DevSecOps practices.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying containerized applications, automating infrastructure and business processes, and supporting enterprise cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure environment provisioning and management.
Build, containerize, and deploy applications to Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).
Manage OpenShift projects, deployments, routes, secrets, container registries, and release pipelines.
Develop automated deployment solutions for Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and integrations with enterprise systems.
Automate operational, business, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Administer Azure cloud services, networking, storage, security, and monitoring capabilities.
Implement deployment, rollback, release management, and environment promotion processes.
Monitor application and infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring and logging solutions.
Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, container platform, automation, and application issues.
Implement DevSecOps controls, security scanning, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
Develop operational documentation, runbooks, deployment guides, and automation standards.
Requirements
5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development.
Experience building and deploying Spring Boot containerized applications to Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), OpenShift, or Kubernetes platforms.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and enterprise cloud environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Azure CLI.
Experience with Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and source control management.
Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
