Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support business transformation initiatives by working closely with stakeholders to convert complex program, operational, and solution data into meaningful insights that enable evidence-based decision-making. This role supports modernization programs and AI/data-driven initiatives through analytics, data quality management, metrics definition, and business insight generation.
Responsibilities
Analyze program, operational, and solution data to identify trends, validate business outcomes, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, SMEs, and client stakeholders.
Develop reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical products to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and program outcomes.
Support AI and data-driven initiatives through data quality management, metric development, and analytical insights that guide product and business decisions.
Perform data profiling, modelling, validation, and quality management activities.
Translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Support program delivery within Agile or Scrum environments.
Requirements
5+ years of experience with Data Engineering: including working with data pipelines, data integration, transformation processes, and large datasets to support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
Knowledge of Data Architecture Principles: including understanding of data architecture concepts, including data modelling, data flows, data storage solutions, governance, scalability, and the design of efficient and maintainable data ecosystems.
Experience using Generative AI: including understanding AI concepts, tools, and use cases, with the ability to analyze data, define metrics, support AI-driven initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve business processes and decision-making through AI-enabled solutions.
Technical Skills: 2+ years of previous experience with SQL and database querying, Power BI (or similar data visualization and reporting tools) and advanced Excel analysis/modelling.
Data profiling, modelling, quality management, and validation.
Statistical analysis and trend identification.
Understanding of data governance and information management principles.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
