Job Summary
The Project Delivery Lead (Senior) is accountable for the successful delivery of complex business and technology initiatives that support strategic organizational priorities. Working across business, technology, vendor, and partner teams, this role leads delivery planning, execution, governance, stakeholder engagement, and reporting to ensure initiatives achieve intended outcomes. The position provides leadership across multiple workstreams, proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies while driving alignment, informed decision-making, and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex business and technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans, roadmaps, milestones, and governance frameworks to support effective execution and oversight.
Establish and lead governance forums, executive reviews, and stakeholder engagements, providing clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making.
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery outcomes.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Oversee the management of RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and decisions, ensuring appropriate mitigation, escalation, ownership, and resolution activities are in place.
Monitor delivery performance, critical path activities, and overall program health, proactively addressing challenges and opportunities that may impact outcomes.
Lead stakeholder communications and change enablement activities to support organizational readiness and adoption.
Manage vendor performance, deliverables, and contractual commitments to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, governance processes, reporting, and ways of working.
Qualifications
Extensive experience leading complex business transformation and technology implementation initiatives with accountability for end-to-end delivery.
Strong expertise in Project Delivery, Program Delivery, Strategic Planning, Roadmap Development, Governance, Financial Oversight, and Resource Management.
Demonstrated success in Executive Stakeholder Management, facilitating governance forums, influencing senior leaders, and driving organizational alignment.
Proven experience managing Risks, Issues, Dependencies, Critical Path Activities, and delivery performance across large, multi-stream initiatives.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills within complex matrix organizations.
Experience leveraging Azure DevOps (ADO), Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams to support planning, governance, performance monitoring, collaboration, and executive reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations and measurable business outcomes.
