Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Consultant with expertise in WebdriverIO (WDIO), TypeScript/JavaScript, API automation, and Oracle SQL. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions across UI, API, and database layers, ensuring high-quality and reliable testing for enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation frameworks using WDIO and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Develop reusable, data-driven automated test scripts for UI, API, and database validation.

• Create and execute API automation tests using Axios or similar tools.

• Validate API responses against Oracle database records and business rules.

• Write and execute complex Oracle SQL queries for test data validation and verification.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure quality standards.

• Provide automation best practices and technical guidance to project teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO).

• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience with API automation testing.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and database validation techniques.

• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.

• Experience with Git and source control practices.

• Experience testing across UI, API, and database layers.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cucumber/BDD frameworks.

• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.

• Knowledge of Node.js.
