Role Overview
The Scrum Master will support delivery execution for a complex social services transformation initiative by driving Agile best practices, improving team performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Acting as a coach, facilitator, and servant leader, the Scrum Master will guide teams through delivery challenges, support effective planning and execution, and implement governance measures that enhance delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and mentor teams, team leads, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum practices.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify and resolve delivery impediments to improve team velocity and effectiveness.
Support planning, estimation, prioritization, resource allocation, and release management activities.
Implement delivery metrics, governance controls, and performance measures to track progress and outcomes.
Utilize Azure DevOps to support backlog management, sprint planning, reporting, and delivery tracking.
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage dependencies and support successful program delivery.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Agile Project Management, Scrum, and Agile delivery environments.
Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring Agile teams within complex transformation programs.
Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology, Agile best practices, delivery governance, and continuous improvement.
Experience with planning, estimation, prioritization, resource planning, release planning, and delivery management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure DevOps for Agile planning, tracking, and reporting.
Proven ability to improve team performance, remove impediments, and drive delivery outcomes.
Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
