We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst for a contract opportunity from June to Dec of 2026, with the possibility of renewal.
** Please note that a current Government of Canada Reliability Clearance, or higher, is preferred, eligibility is required.
This position can be done fully remotely from Canada, but will be required to work in East Coast time.
The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the organization and designing effective business processes and systems that align with strategic objectives. This role focuses on evaluating the current state of the business and its integration with technology, identifying customer and stakeholder requirements, and defining future-state solutions. Acting as a subject matter expert, the Business Analyst leads and collaborates with cross-functional teams, contributes to key decisions, and ensures solutions meet quality, regulatory, and business standards.
Responsibilities:
Analyze existing business models, processes, and systems to assess effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather, validate, and prioritize business and system requirements while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
Define current-state and future-state processes, identifying gaps and recommending scalable, efficient business solutions.
Develop clear, comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and decision artifacts.
Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and are implemented as designed.
Apply data analysis techniques to identify trends, risks, and insights that inform business and operational decisions.
Act as a subject matter expert, guiding the team, enabling effective performance, and owning decisions within the team's scope.
Support quality management, regulatory compliance, and governance activities throughout the solution lifecycle.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement, innovation, and optimization across the organization.
Engage with multiple teams and stakeholders, contributing to enterprise-level discussions and cross-team solutions.
What you`ll need:
Advanced expertise in business requirements analysis is essential, along with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams.
Advanced proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis.
Strong experience with Curam solutions.
Demonstrated expertise in Quality Management practices.
Solid understanding of Regulatory Compliance requirements in a complex enterprise environment.
Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with Risk Management practices.
Hands-on experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps for requirements, backlog, or delivery tracking.
Familiarity with SAFe Agile or Agile delivery environments.
