We are currently looking for an experienced Change Management Consultant for a contract opportunity from June 15 to Dec 31 of 2026, with the possibility of renewal.
** Please note that a current Government of Canada Reliability Clearance, or higher, is preferred, eligibility is required.
This position can be done fully remotely from Canada, but will be required to work in East Coast time.
This role will focus on driving user adoption, deployment readiness, and end-user support, ensuring successful transition and sustained business outcomes.
The consultant will work closely with client stakeholders, product teams, and delivery partners to execute change strategies, support communications, and enable end users throughout deployment.
Responsibilities:
Execute change management strategies and adoption tactics aligned to readiness milestones, monitoring adoption indicators and addressing resistance or gaps
Assess and coordinate organizational readiness across people, process, and tools, supporting go-live planning and readiness checkpoints with business and delivery teams
Contribute to end-user support models (e.g., hypercare, service desk), triaging and escalating issues while analyzing support trends to drive improvements
Develop and deliver targeted communications aligned to key milestones, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and timely
Partner with SMEs to update procedures and job aids, ensuring documentation reflects system changes and supports user readiness with clear, accessible materials
Support defect tracking and resolution with product and technical teams, prioritizing issues based on business impact and communicating status and workarounds to users and stakeholders
What you`ll need:
5+ years of experience in change management, business transformation, or organizational readiness
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to translate complex changes into clear, user-friendly messaging
Experience with procedural documentation and end-user materials
Strong organizational and coordination skills in fast-paced environments
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret user feedback and support data
Ability to work effectively in a client-facing, collaborative environment
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting large-scale IT or business transformation programs, preferably within the public sector
Familiarity with deployment support, hypercare models, and user adoption strategies
Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset
Familiarity with an Agile workplace (SAFe framework)
